The City has completed a set of sidewalk “bump-outs” — curb extensions at key downtown crossings — as part of the ongoing Central Avenue streetscape improvements.
The bump-outs shorten the distance pedestrians travel across the street, improve sight lines for drivers, and create space for street trees and seasonal plantings. The work supports the City’s goal of a safe, vibrant, accessible downtown.
