The Dover City Council is the City's elected legislative body, made up of the Mayor and councilors representing the city's wards.

The City Council is Dover’s elected legislative body. It adopts the annual budget, enacts ordinances and resolutions, and sets the policy direction for the City. The Council is made up of the Mayor, elected at large, and councilors representing the city’s wards.

Meetings

The City Council meets regularly in Council Chambers at City Hall, 288 Central Avenue. Meetings are open to the public and streamed live. Agendas, packets, minutes, and video are posted on the Meetings & Agendas page.
